What is Grillo
We here at Blackhearts are big fans of Grillo, because it tastes delicious but also because it’s a great food match, to your vegetable dish, seafood or even a rich pasta dish.
It’s a native Sicilian grape that is commonly the major component of Marsala. It a lovely sidestep for a Pinot Grigio/Gris drinker, with a little more weight, some minerality and herbal notes.
