Located in the Barossa Valley, Izway was conceived by Brian Conway and Craig Isbel over a bottle of wine and a handshake in Beaujolais in 2002. Craig has planted vineyards, driven grape harvesters and done vintages in Margaret River, the Yarra Valley, Beaujolais, Sonoma County, and the Barossa Valley.

Craig’s passionate about nurturing their vines to create the best possible fruit. Brian’s passion for wine started with a bottle of Dom his dad shared with him. He worked in wine retail for years before doing his first vintage in California, a few more in Margaret River and the Yarra Valley before a double vintage in Beaujolais then Alsace. Izway see their role as gently guiding their fruit into the bottle so it accurately reflects their terroir.
