Over these past few years, it's likely your relationship to 'home' has changed and evolved; but every now and then, you put on a song you love or open a specific bottle that takes you back to a special moment or place. That song, and these wines, do just that for us! This Must Be The Place is a new series that’s close to our hearts. For this series, we chose to work with varieties that are at home in the place they were grown and produced. We teamed up with some of our favourite producers across Australia, with the aim to create the perfect expression of wine from their home regions. Generous in character and flavour, you can trust that you’ll get a true taste for the wines from each region. - 2019 This Must Be The Place Mornington Peninsula Chardonnay This Chardonnay is beautifully soft and textural. A broad spectrum of fruit flavour reflects the site, with white stone fruit, nashi pear, fennel fronds, and subtle oak spice present. - 2019 This Must Be The Place Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir A full, rich expression of Mornington Pinot. This wine offers a complexity of fruit aromas; rich maraschino cherries, sweet spice, plum, hints of Cherry Ripe, and earthy tannins. - 2020 This Must Be The Place McLaren Vale Grenache Wild strawberry and dried rose petal aromatics pave the way for ripe raspberry, a hint of blackberry and light salinity.
