The Volpe Rosa is made from a rare type of Coda di Volpe Rosso planted 500 metres above sea level.
The fruit spent two days on skins before being raised in amphorae and was racked over 20 times. Blackcurrant, dried orange peel, amaro herbs, and woody spice, with some earthy, savoury tannins adding structure and richness.
