Phenomenal Aligoté from the Château de Béru domaine, which has remained in the same family for 400 years now. Fruit comes from organically-farmed vines which sit just outside the prolific Tonnerre AOC, with maturation in old barriques for ten months. There's a lovely balance of orchard fruit and piercing acidity, bringing to the fore a compelling expression of the variety.
