Who is Battles Wine?
Founded in Western Australia in 2019, Battles wine is the combined efforts of winemaker Lance Parkin and sommelier Kris Ambrozkiewicz. Having honed his craft at Houghton in the Swan Valley and Amberley Estate, Lance was one of the successful applicants for the 18th Len Evans Tutorial (the world’s most exclusive wine school).
Battles’ focus is on creating tiny runs of wine with ferocious attention to detail to honour their fruits’ provenance. They source fruit from nearby Margaret River, the Great Southern and Geographe regions.
