Milan Nestarec is a young winemaker from Moravia in the eastern Czech Republic. Having held the reins of his family's vineyard since the age of 16, Milan has steered the winery through its transition to organic viticulture and minimal interventionist winemaking. With plenty of millennial charm and no shortage of creativity in the cellar, Milan's wines are made with a wide range of varieties both native to the Czech Republic and those found elsewhere across Central Europe. A must-try for lovers of unique and lo-fi wines! Translating to 'purple' in Czech, Nach is a homage to the typical Moravian red: light, fresh, low in alcohol, and unobscured by new oak. It's a blend of Pinot Noir, Blaufränkisch, and St. Laurent aged in large format neutral oak barrels for six months. It's slurpy and so easy to drink, with notes of strawberry, cherry, and spring garden herbs with minimal tannin and juicy acidity. No need to think too hard about this one - just chill it down and swill away! (1L)
