Fond Cyprès is the viticultural project of winemaking couple, Laetitia Ourliac and Rodolphe Gianesini. Based in Escales, in the Corbières region of the Languedoc, Laetitia and Rodolphe began their winemaking journey by purchasing an abandoned 18-acre vineyard in 1998 and set to work restoring it to its former glory. Employing strict organic viticultural methods as well as traditional winemaking, the pair have quickly become some of the most exciting and intriguing producers in the Languedoc region, with their wines being regularly featured on the top wine lists across Paris and the rest of the world. The Cinsault Cuve No. 5 is a light and fragrant red which provides an interesting point of contrast to the often bold and high alcohol red wines of the Languedoc. Succulent cherries, sweet plum, and baking spice with delicate structure and refreshing acidity.
