An open and inviting expression of this consistently delicious grape from Burgundy, that's strangely uncommon in Australia. A rich nose of ripe pear, lemon balm and cut apple give way to a palate that's a little more savoury and textural thanks to some oxidative handling, and layered with light salinity and minerality, apple and hints of spice.

Who is Terrason?
Growing up in South Australia not far the Barossa, wine maker Marc Lunt has been surrounded by vines for most of his life. He was lucky enough to spend a decade working in France under some of the most influential wine domains; Armand Rousseau, Domaine de la Romanee Conti & Chateau Angelus.
Now based in Victoria, Marc and his partner Leanne make and release wines under the label Terrason, bringing together fruit from the Yarra and King Valleys to make minimal intervention wines with a traditional feel.
