Fantastic sparkling Chenin Blanc from Bernard Fouquet in the Loire Valley, yet again another example of how much value can be found in sparkling wines from other regions in France. Comprised of a blend of 85% base wine from 2017, with the rest from 2016 being aged in oak. Apple, just ripe pear, and honey blossom, with some candlestick wax and bready richness from time on lees.
