Gut Oggau is the project of Eduard Tscheppe and Stephanie Tscheppe-Eselböck, a dynamic duo who tend to their certified biodynamic vineyards in Burgenland, Austria. With a focus on traditional Austrian grape varieties, their winemaking is framed by a meticulous and minimal intervention approach, yielding wines of extraordinary purity and complexity. Theodora is a blend of Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling from 35-year-old vines grown on gravel and limestone soils. It was fermented in neutral oak barrels of mixed sizes, and matured for nine months with no bâtonnage before being bottled unfined and unfiltered with no sulphur additions.
