Situated on the north face of Mt Etna, Giuseppe Russo takes pride in his century old vineyard with meticulous organic viticulture.
As Mt Etna is still an active volcano, the wines produced on its slopes show exceptional minerality from the truly unique topography of the mountain's soils.
A little more intensity and power than previous vintages. A blend of Nerello Mascelese & Nerello Cappuccio. There’re dark red berries, cherry and spice with an earthy volcanic note. Finishes with power and a lovely backbone of acidity.
