In honour of its 25th year, the Hightail Ale has been given the royal treatment.
Aged in Cognac barrels, it's smooth and sumptuous with a moreish toffee character and an oaky background. Part of the beer was kept to age in Pedro Ximenez barrels, giving it rich aromatics of sweet, over ripe raisins on the nose.
