Who is Chatto?
Jim Chatto is an acclaimed winemaker with an impressive portfolio, with over 20 years of winemaking experience as well as experience as a senior wine show judge. Having previously held the reins at Rosevears Estate in Tasmania's Tamar Valley, and subsequently, at Mount Pleasant in the Hunter Valley, Jim and his wife Daisy (whom he met in Tasmania) set to work building their own vineyard in 2007 on a site in the Huon Valley. Releasing their first vintage from their Isle Vineyard in 2013, the Chatto wines are fast becoming a key player in Tasmania's viticultural scene.
