A stunning example of Nebbiolo from northern Alto-Piedmont, an area that consistently over-delivers with value for money.
Hailing from the small village of Casa del Bosco, close to the famed town of Gattinara, it spent 36 months in oak resulting in a wine with less primary fruit and instead showing darker black cherry liqueur and brown earthy spice. Lovely chalky tannins coat the whole mouth, giving the wine amazing length and character.
