The deft, yet delicate touch of the winemakers shines through in this compelling and thoughtful Pinot Noir.

We always look forward to Gentle Folk's single-vineyard wines, and the more recently acquired Monomeith site is a welcome addition indeed! Monomeith has always been an exceptional site thanks to its cooler Ashton Hills location, unique exposition and east-west vineyard orientation, but this wine is special for an altogether different reason.

Original iterations of Father's Milk were made in collaboration with late winemaker Taras Ochota. This time, Gareth and Rainbo decided the time had come to make this meaningful wine again, this time with Taras' father, Yari, at the reins. It's a tribute to Taras and the wine he loved to make.

Who is Gentle Folk?

Situated amongst the undulating slopes of the Adelaide Hills, Gareth and Rainbo Belton farm six organically managed vineyards with an emphasis on minimal intervention and regional expression.
