Wildflower Bright Side Shiraz Wine Hybrid Golden Ale

"When Canberra fell under a blanket of bushfire smoke at the beginning of 2020, Bryan Martin of Ravensworth Wines realised that there were grim prospects for his harvest. Smoke taint renders wine grapes an undesirable product in the industry, and can be a devastating loss of income to winemakers. In an act of pure mateship and collaboration, Bryan and Wildflower's Topher Boehm hatched a plan to craft a range of co-fermented wild ales, utilising Bryan's tainted fruit so that they would not go to waste. The result is five distinctive beers, with each being a beautiful example of how complex and delicious these hybridised beer styles can be.

The Bright Side Shiraz Golden Ale has a lovely peppery whole bunch character on the nose, with a juicy palate of ripe red fruits and subtle leathery savouriness.
