Superbly textural while also capturing vitality and freshness. Lovely white stonefruit, lemon-lime citrus, purity of fruit but what really makes the wine is the chalky phenolic pull from front to back, adding savoury chalky pith and structure. Delicious!

Warramate Marsanne Roussanne 2021

A punchy, concentrated vintage with plenty of chew and drive to keep you interested. Some gentle oxidative reverb and sustain bring an added dimension to notes of fallen apple, cut stone fruit, and ginger snap cookie, with some moreish acidity expertly woven through.

Bobar Chardonnay 2022

A modern and pure Chardonnay serving up everything there is to love about this variety in spades. Pristine notes of grapefruit and lemon citrus and balm. Deftly light-medium-weighted, with a line of pure, clean acidity woven through. Coming from three sites in the Yarra Valley and aged in a mix of French oak barriques, puncheons and foudre for eight to nine months.

A little more fruit-forward on the nose than past vintages, with a lovely mix of grapefruit, citrus, meal, and some oak spice. A beautiful wine that's engaging and a perfect representation of this Upper Yarra site and the incredibly thoughtful winemaking.

A.Rodda Willow Lake Chardonnay 2022

An unforced, savoury wine with a mealy nose and mid palate richness. Notes of yellow nectarine and peach fill out a fleshy medium to full bodied Chardonnay.

Martingale Estate Chardonnay 2022

Pressed as whole bunches to oak barrels, a third new, with just a tiny amount of the wine going through malolactic fermentation. Notes of nectarine, grapefruit pith, and jasmine taper into a lengthy saline finish. It's a fantastic vintage for this wine, with taught and direct acid tension coming from the cooler growing season. If you're looking for a bottle to impress those mates 'in the know' this could be just the ticket!

Medhurst Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2023

A thought-provoking blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and a bit of Sauvignon Blanc that makes for a bold, oxidative white. It’s also charmingly aromatic and has a good phenolic grip, but the acid is reminiscent of a Jura blanc, so it’s perfect with luxurious cheeses and buttery delights.

In Dreams Chardonnay 2021

An electric Chardonnay overflowing with notes of white and yellow flowers on the nose. The Quartz and Granite soils here add liveliness and tension to the acid line alongside building flavours through the core and into the fruit spectrum, from citrus to white nectarine. A very mineral feel with some chalky talc and citrus pith, an extremely lovely wine with a defined structural backbone.

Terrason Swallowfield Chardonnay 2022

A gloriously guzzlable Chardonnay from Rob Hall, made with fruit from the Willow Lake, Daniel's Hill and Harriet's vineyards in the Yarra Valley. There's a lovely chiselled feel to this, with chewy nougat, stone fruit and citrussy acidity playing on the palate alongside some well-placed oak bringing depth to the glass.

These are phenomenal expressions of site, bringing oodles of flavour to your palette, and range from light, mineral, and citrusy all the way to textural, oak-laden, buttery cuvées (and all of the iterations in between!).
