It sees 18 months in oak, with scrupulous barrel selection producing a wine of intense character and complexity. Rich dark plum and sweet blackberry laden with Szechuan peppercorn and clove spice. Oak influence is pronounced but seamlessly integrated, with some plush tannins building through to a long and complex finish. Drink now or cellar for 5-10 years.
