This is a lifted and perfumed Shiraz, from vineyards situated atop a panoramic view of Victoria's Cathedral Ranges. Lovely red fruits, green peppercorn, some silky tannin and a good acid line to wrap it all together nicely.

Utter Syrah 2020

The genesis of the wine was to make a summery-vibed red with an emphasis of drinkability and fruitfulness... and in our humble opinion we certainly got there! The resulting wine is all about Slip n' Slide. certainly no hard edges here folks! An easy glide of cherry-berried fruit. A little earthiness thanks to the Pinot fruit and a faint whisper of amaro or cherry pip bitterness pulls things into line... Will do great things chilled when the suns out!

Grenache/Shiraz/Mataro. A melange of red & black berries with some spice & a healthy lick of tannin. There’s a good pull of flavour & a little salinity.

Hailing from a single vineyard from Tenuta Roncaglia in Barbaresco, the Pian Balbo Dolcetto d'Alba displays a level of detail, talent and terroir that this family is known for. Sweet red plum, a squish of blue fruit, a dusting of savoury herbs, and a crisp snap of Dolcetto tannin. Delicious drinking!

Refreshing notes of wild strawberry and red apple skin lead to a deliciously dry and savoury finish. Not seen too often, Grolleau is traditionally made into rosé and has been blended with Gamay and Côt—or Malbec, as some of us might be more familiar with.
