In the midst of an exciting generational change, Mathilde Grivot has in recent years brought a more modern slant to her family's respected Domaine. 2016 was a difficult growing season in Burgundy marred with frost and mildew, however through meticulous vineyard handling Mathilde and her father Étienne worked wonders with this beautiful wine. It's powerful and bold, yet not without the Domaine's trademark elegance. The palate allures with blue and black fruits, freshly tilled earth, and savoury spice wrapped in a blanket of firm tannins and expertly integrated oak.
