This is a beautifully modern Australian Chardonnay—pure and tensile, with just a smidge of oak toast.
An approachable, yet thought-provoking wine—it's a great bottle to share with Chardonnay devotees and newbies alike! Savoury almond meal aromas dance around light citrus and a hint of nectarine. The palate is pillowy soft, with an injection of spice from Gingin Chardonnay clone and fresh saline acidity carried along a lengthy finish. A versatile wine that'll pair perfectly with a meal on a balmy evening.

Who is Toolangi?
First planted in 1995 in Dixon’s Creek in the northern Yarra Valley, the vineyard is nestled alongside the Toolangi state forest. Using sustainable principals and holistic viticulture, their wines aim to capture the spirit of their terroir and each vintage.
Bought in 2017 by Rochford owner Helmut Konecsny, Toolangi grapes are handpicked from low yielding vines, naturally fermented, aged in French oak and go to bottle unfined and unfiltered.
