Cracking Alsatian Riesling from three childhood friends who grew up in the heart of Alsace. Felsa Spranger is a phrase that translates in the local German dialect to 'rock-breaker' and is used to describe bone-dry Rieslings. Fitting, too, as this Rizza is very dry, though not without lovely waves of texture and richness to offset the acidity. Stonefruit, quince, dried citrus rind and a hint of quinine with a savoury, chalky mouthfeel.
