Gorgeous Chardonnay from the Thibert family, whose roots in the Mâconnais region (the village of Fuissé, to be exact) date back as far as 1668.
This is one of the family's entry-level cuvées, but there is so much elegance and energy to love here. Ripe yellow stonefruits, honey, and toasted hazelnut with some classy oak influence at play. A gentle mealiness from some expertly handled lees helps to fill out the palate and provide lovely texture and weight.
