Perfect for the Chardonnay drinker who feels like colouring outside the lines.

These robust Roussanne grapes were hand-picked on the 2 March—slightly earlier or slightly later and we’d be tasting a completely different wine—that’s the kind of precision you can expect from an ex-jewellery valuer! Creamy, but still retaining freshness, with aromas of exotic nuts and spice. There's some extra complexity from wild yeast barrel fermentation and maturation balanced by loads of yellow nectarine.

Who is Michael Hall?

Growing up in England, wine maker Michael Hall spent his summer’s holidaying in the French provincial landscape which is where he developed his love for Burgundy & Rhone Valley wines.

Before embarking on his wine making journey, Michael was a jewelry valuer for over 20 years, whilst it was a life of glitz and glamour, he was still yearning to bring his wine dream to reality. After applying for an Australia Study Visa, he soon thereafter graduated Wine Science dux in 2005.

Since then he has worked with the like of Australian wine royalty; Cullen, Giaconda, Henschke, Shaw + Smith & Coldstream Hills to name a few. His wines today are small batch, elegant, made with passive interventions and meticulous attention to detail
