An absolutely delicious Shiraz from Hamish Young, whose star is well and truly rising.
With fruit from his friends at Yarrh and Poachers Pantry vineyards, Hamish has crafted a wonderfully floral wine, that blossoms with air; there are cool red fruits, a mineral streak, fresh acidity, and nice pepper and clove spice that leads to the lovely and long finish. Deftly played whole-bunch and new oak play great supporting roles.
