Winemaker and certified top bloke Gary Mills crafts a range of beautiful wines from his urban winery in Preston, in the north suburbs of Melbourne. With a background in English literature, Gary fell in love with wine upon returning to Australia after living in Japan as an English teacher.

He took off to the US to gain experience, spending two years working at Ridge Vineyards in California before returning again to Australia to start up Jamsheed Wines in 2003. Gary's wines show an intent focus on regional expression, sourcing the highest-quality fruit from throughout Victoria and allowing the grapes to tell the story without heavy-handed winemaking getting in the way.
