André-Jean Morin's family have been growing grapes since 1704, but it wasn't until 2010 that AJ decided to start making his own wines. In the 12 years since, he's worked hard to convert his 12 hectares of Arbois vineyards to both certified organic and biodynamic.
Wonderfully expressive in the glass, with strawberry, red currants and some firm tannin, with a sweet, driven core. Trousseau from Les Corvées vineyard was destemmed by hand before a gentle maceration and fermentation in old foudre and amphora.

Who is Domaine de la Touraize?
Héléana and André-Jean Morin's family have winemaking roots in Arbois that date back as far as 1704, however, until recently the family had opted to sell their grapes to a local winemaking cooperative. This changed in 2009, when the couple decided it was time to take the plunge and do it themselves. We're ever so glad that they did too, as these wines are beautifully pure expressions of their terroir and some of the best coming out of the Jura region!
