Adrian Rodda believes that when it comes to Bordeaux varieties, the sum is greater than its parts, and this Cabernet blend is a stunning example of just that.
The varietal characters are ringing true, with a perfume of violets and green herbs meeting cascading red plum and a wash of sweet red currant on the palate. Rich yet accessible cocoa powder tannins bring some weight to the blend and give a nice spread for the flavours to carry on.
