A very 'gourmand' wine by Victorian winemaker, Josh Cooper. A wonderfully complex yet approachable bottle that feels as though it was crafted for pure enjoyment.
Fruit for this cuvée comes from the Ray-Monde vineyard on the southern edge of the Macedon Ranges and comes together to create a beautifully balanced wine that shines in the glass with notes of black cherry, kirsch, violet, spice, sweet damp earth, and peat. A medium-bodied wine with long, fine, silky tannins. A fantastic wine its youth that will age gracefully, gaining complexity with age.
