Extreeemeley guzzlable Riesling from winemaker, Louis Schofield.
Off-dry, damn delicious and packed with apple, rich lime and some cooked apple layered with honey blossom, a little bit of lees texture, and 11g of residual sugar balanced by some high acidity. Fruit for this cuvée—grown by Chris Overton (same as the Springton Shiraz) in his heavily shaded vineyards—was fermented in seasoned oak, halted at just the right level of sweetness, and lees stirred.
