A deep, sturdy wine with layers of intrigue. Dark, supple fruit is met with savoury spice and carried on finely woven tannins.
Fruit for this wine comes from original plantings on the estate’s northern slope. Handpicked, de-stemmed and tipped into an open fermenter, with around 30% whole bunches added before fermentation. The wine was pressed off skins, then directly to old puncheons.
