This fantastic Riesling is made from fruit picked at 83° Oechsle (for those playing at home, the Oeschle scale measures the density of grape must and is used to make predictions about the finished wine) from old vines. Razor sharp on the nose with aromas of citrus, smoke, and herbs. Spirited and energetic on the palate with an abundance of citrus fruit, subtle herb and spice, and an almost dry finish.
