The Kaye Single Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from the most elevated site at the Bindi estate, which was planted in 2001.
The 2021 vintage started out as a challenge for the Bindi family, yet took a turn for the better towards the tail end of the season, resulting in some of the best quality fruit the family have seen since planting their first vineyard in 1988. It's a weighted and complex Australian Pinot, with layers of brooding, deep fruit and spice alongside lifted floral aromatics. The wine's chewy, savoury tannins and brisk acidity suggest it has magnificent cellaring potential.

Who is Bindi?
Purchased in the 1950s, the Bindi estate is a 170 hectare farm of which only 6 hectares is planted to just two grape varieties: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
With a large portion of the estate's remaining land left as untouched bushland, the Dhillon family seek to find balance and harmony with the natural landscape - a philosophy that is evident in their approach to winemaking.
