A slightly more structured Morgon, hailing from Bouland's oldest Corcelette vines planted over the lieu-dit's rocky Cailloux soils. Medium-bodied and deftly layered with concentration and pitch-perfect ripeness, with a heady perfume with notes of cherry, sweet spice and rose petals.

Who is Daniel Bouland?
In many ways, Daniel Bouland is the antithesis of Beaujolais' reputation circa the 1970s and 80s. Known as one of the region's more reclusive producers, Bouland tends to his rustic, predominately old vine vineyards all by himself, with holdings across the Morgon lieux-dits of Corcelette, Bellevue, and Delys.
His wines are bold, complex, and incredibly layered, offering a wonderful reference point for how versatile and brooding Gamay can be.
