One of the flagship wines in the Ravensworth range, the Estate Sangiovese is sourced mostly from 25-year-old vines grown on granite soils at 650 metres elevation. It was processed as whole berries and spent six months on skins before pressing and provides a lot of tender, sweet, red cherry while the dried herbs and tobacco leaf tannins pull the palate in all sorts of directions and tease out the wonderful length.
