A powerful and brooding Pinot Noir from the inimitable Josh Cooper.
Raspberry, cherry, and forest floor, with silky tannins and fresh acidity layered with the spice we've come to expect from Doug's Vineyard. Pinot Noir from vines sitting atop a North East facing hillside were hand-harvested and carefully sorted in the cool of the morning and soaked as whole bunches, before spending 12 months on lees in a mix of Dominique Laurent "Magic Cask" and seasoned Burgundian oak, and a further four months on fine lees in stainless tank to integrate.
