A local take on this Italian variety from Campbells, with subtle (but very welcome) notes of almond blossom, orchard fruit, and hay on the nose. In the glass, the palate is savoury and textural with almond meal, ripe, spicy pear, some pith and just a hint of apple. A fantastic rendition of that variety, you'd be forgiven for thinking this could have come straight from Abruzzo!
