Benoit and Sebastian Danjou-Banessy go together like Grenache and Mourvèdre.
Grown on vines that are 30+ years in age, the wine was fermented for 10-12 months in used barrels and bottled without fining or filtration. Bottled by gravity in accordance with the phase of the moon to keep agitation to a minimum. As far as the aromas go, it’s soft with rose petal and jasmine tea and a little green pepper. Delightful.
