The name Besk comes from a Danish flavour descriptor that translates to sharp, bitter, and tart (and to us as very delicious)
Wildflower have brewed this with additions of gentian root, wormwood, and sandalwood tree bark—ingredients found more often in an amaro than a beer—and is a true exploration of bitterness and acidity that's derived from ingredients outside of hops. It's earthy and woodsy, thanks to Fuggles hops, with hints of sweet malt and lemon zest on the grippy palate before a lingering bitterness and dry finish.
