There’s a nice mid-weight feel here and some peppery tannins at play because Cabardes is 35% Merlot, 30% Syrah, 20% Cabernet and 15% Grenache, and full of that south of France charm we’ve found reliably comforting over the years. Merci Pennautier.

This one’s a little chic thanks to a full palate of macerated cherry and minerality that seem to swim beneath some freshly, picked floral aromatics. The tannin is earthy and well supported by just enough acidity to gently slice through it all.

A bit of rain just before harvest resulted in extra freshness. This one was fermented entirely in stainless steel and is ripe with summer berries, forestal leaf, a little white peppery edge, and crisp tannins. A great example of an agreeable personality in wine.

Extremely guzzlable Gamay from Languedoc that's about to top your list of new favourite wines. Pure, fleshy and fruit-forward, with loads of carbonic berries up front and very little tannin—in other words, suuuper slurpy. Chuck this in the fridge for a few minutes and drink it with a slight chill.

Felicette Grenache Rouge 2020

Nieluccio is the Corsican grape related to Sangiovese. Here we find it in the Languedoc making a no sulphur organic wine that is perfumed. with lavender and red and black cherries. A stony mineral palate display plum and savoury cherry notes. Reminiscent of a lighter rhone valley wine.

Crazy value for an even $20! We would say ‘house red’ but this feels more deserving of ‘dinner party red’. Oodles of plush, soft plum fruit give the palate a generous feel, bolstered by wild herbs & violet florals. Smooth tannins, wood spice & cinnamon elevate the offering further.
