Enjoying this Nebbiolo is somewhat of a ritual, pour a glass and give it some time to sigh and unwind (this is a good time for you to sigh and unwind too). Earthy bramble berries early on the nose and with some air the aromas move towards rose, cherry and raspberry. Bramble, earthy berries continue onto the palate with sandy tannins, savoury notes and bright acidity.

Who is Little Reddie?

Pat Underwood founded Little Reddie in 2015 after four years of exploration and education in the wine world. Working alongside Jarad Curwood (Chapter Wine), he harvested some fruit from his vineyard and made some Shiraz in his dad’s backyard.

His passion was lit and he worked at City Wine Shop in Melbourne taking in as much wine knowledge as his brilliant mentors would share. He’s done Victorian harvests at Bannockburn and Gembrook Hill and has traveled through Chianti, the Mosel, Burgundy and the Northern Rhone and did three harvests with Olek Bondonio in Barbaresco.

Pat approaches each wine and vintage individually to best express the fruit and its characteristic. He works with Central Victorian growers to make single vineyard wines. Viewing each wine as a combination of texture, flavour and shape, he uses these aspects to capture the terroir and variety of the fruit.
