Una Litro might be Italian for ‘extra bliss’, though we’re pretty rusty. It’s partly moscato but it’s dry and full of creamy lemon curd, peach and that grapefruit grip that comes with all the best things from Piedmont. No skin contact here, just pulpy phenolic grip.

Hailing from the Eastern reaches of Piedmont is this stunning Cortese that's just a delight to drink. There's a lovely, fresh feel that's coupled with plenty of citrus, peel, and grapefruit pith, with hints of almond blossom and some stony minerality rounding out this delicious glass of wine.

Crisp and citrusy Cortese that does Piedmont proud and offers those can't-get-enough aromatic delights — cut hay and lemon peel. La Morella's previous vintages have always been refined and understated, and 2021's no different. It also pairs frighteningly well with gorgonzola... not that you needed a 'reason' to buy forgmaggi.

Erbaluce is a delightful Piedmontese grape that's characteristics are brilliantly displayed by Erbalu Biancocalus. This is full of fresh fig and exotic nuts on the nose and has a good hit of salinity, lemon pith and fern. Delicious with antipasti.

Grown on one of the highest parts of Monleale, the most esteemed land for Timorasso, on both limestone and clay soils. Aged and then bottled without filtration. At its aromatic core is a driving length and complexity. One of our favourite Timorassos.

Monlia Derthona Timorasso Colli Tortonesi 2021

An incredible wine from Boveri Giacomo Derthona. This vineyard gives the most Chablis-esque characteristics of all the single vineyard releases from them. Hazelnut with ripe lime, lemon verbena and a briny edge pair perfectly with the crisp, energetic and mineral side with fine chalky texture.

A beautifully bright and fresh Moscato d'Asti, with bucketloads of acidity to balance all of that classic stylistic sweetness. Peach, ripe lime, floral musk and fresh mint with a lovely tingle of carbonation that helps to keep it feeling light on the palate.

From a vineyard in Alba planted in 2011 at a high altitude of 750m. Pure and elegant, with white melon and crisp citrus notes alongside a potent mineral edge and brisk acidity adding lovely tension.

This seldom-seen variety rarely makes its way to our stores, so we're particularly chuffed to have this ultra-vibrant white gracing our glass with tantalising aromas of honeysuckle, blossom and lemon curd. A touch of savoury nuttiness joins ripe stonefruit on the palate, along with defined minerality and alpine herbs it is generous in texture yet crisp in feel.

Antoniolo Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG 2020

Located in the heart of the Langhe hills at the top of the village of Castiglione Falletto. The family has been making wine for four generations as has some of the most highly sort after vineyards in the Barolo region. Timorasso has often been referred to as the “Barolo” of white wine, due to its complexity and finesse but also its aging potential. There is lovely tension and texture in the 2019 cuvee, orchard fruit drizzled with honey, and a mineral-laden finish. A shining example of the right grape in the right place.

It's light and delicate, with soft floral aromas. A small portion of the wine spent time on skins, adding subtle richness, while fresh peach and citrus notes give this drop some lovely lemonade vibes too. It's quite possibly the best way to quench your thirst on a weekend afternoon! (750ml) 12.0% ABV

Slightly on the richer side but brimming with a lively acidity to keep things fresh and vibrant. Green apple, lemon and alpine herbs galore in this snappy number!

La Morella Il Monte Cortese 2020

Marina Coppi is a small family-run estate in Castellania (closer to Liguria than Piedmonte), predominantly working with Timarasso and Barbera grapes. A lovely fresh style of wine, with a waft of meadow flowers and a nice honey tone. Delicious and thought-provoking.

Marina Coppi Colli Tortonesi Timorasso Francesca 2020

This is an excellent example of how good this variety can be, and will strike an emotional chord with lovers of Chablis. Raised in 100% stainless steel and seeing no oak, it's a crisp and pure white with preserved lemon, green apple, jasmine florals, and savoury spice notes supported by saline acidity.

Giacomo Boveri Piccolo Derthona Timorasso 2020

Textural and complex Arneis from organic vineyards in Roero, to the west of Langhe. The palate is rich with butterscotch and apple blossom which tightens up with some zesty acidity and plenty of chalky grip. Not your run-of-the-mill Arneis!

These are phenomenal expressions of site, bringing oodles of flavour to your palette, and range from light, mineral, and citrusy all the way to textural, oak-laden, buttery cuvées (and all of the iterations in between!).
