A uniquely Austrian expression of Chardonnay—known locally as Morillon.
Grown in the rich limestone clay soils of Styria—known as Opok—Chardonnay was hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in neutral oak for up to 16 months. The result is a wine with mouth-watering acidity and layers of green apple, quince and honeysuckle flavours.
