If there's one thing we ALWAYS have time for, it's a skin contact Pinot Gris from the one and only Owen Latta.
This saw just eight days on skins, with some firm phenolic character in the glass. Definitely Gris rather than Grigio in style, and full fruited with Bosc pear and toffee notes that lead the charge here before a tight line of acidity cuts through and makes way for some citrus and peach fuzz to creep to the fore. Deserves plenty of ponder time in a glass.
