Murdoch Hill Chardonnay 2022

Effortlessly balanced creamy oak richness with pine lime and tropical aromatic, this is really just a delight to drink. Peach and nectarine on the palate, with some well-integrated oak spice. A mix of Chardonnay from Limestone Coast, with the Padthaway fruit bringing some nice depth, whilst Mt Gambier fruit brings some natural acidity and elegance to the glass.

Thought-provoking, Jura-esque Chardy with a good whack of salinity and some juicy high acidity thanks to the oxidative winemaking and a splash of Riesling. Complex, concentrated and with plenty of lemon fruit along for the journey, kudos to BK following his instincts.

Sourced from selected sites in Piccadilly Valley and showing off plenty of that Hills charm. Nectarine complemented by some wonderfully placed oak spice tapers into a beautiful fine line, alongside preserved and fresh citrus notes. Delicious now though this shows some serious cellar potential.

Sourced primarily from the Scary Gully, Piccadilly, Ashton and Murdoch Hills vineyards, the fruit for this cuvée was pressed as whole clusters before spending nine months in a mix of French and Austrian barriques, puncheons and foudres. The result? A Chardonnay layered with complexity that balances ripe fruit with pitch-perfect acidity.

Gentle Folk Village Chardonnay 2022

Tightly wound, with a steely minerality, notes of beeswax, Meyer lemon, and grapefruit. Fruit for this cuvée comes from a north-facing site in the Piccadilly Valley that's nigh on perfect for making cool climate Chardonnay.

Ochota Barrels Slint Chardonnay 2022

Medium-weighted with yellow peach and citrus notes supported by a little mealy texture and gentle oak influence.

Annais Organic Chardonnay 2020

Remaining very much in the richer, more traditional style of Chardonnay that we know and love, with lashes of oak and buttery notes, from malolactic fermentation, that are almost like a cuddle from your furry friend. There's plenty of stone fruit—both white and yellow—with some oak toast and spice, and a little vanilla pod. A lovely line of well-balanced acidity and some mealy cashew savouriness weave their way through the weight and texture of the wine, giving it so much ease of drinkability. If you've loved their past releases, we bet you'll love this one even more!
