Sourced from both family-owned and grower vineyards throughout the Barossa, including some that are the oldest in the region, this Grenache shows a real sense of place. In the glass, ripe strawberry and raspberry coulis are complemented by a little sage, saltbush and some lovely sandy tannins tightening it up before the nice and savoury finish.

A Barossa Grenache that's up for a good time, not a long time. Of course, it has a smidge of leather and some grounding tannin for the sake of cohesion and structure, but it's plush and the focus here is more on the dark cherry and sweet fruits which command your attention in the best way.

So bright on the nose with red and black berries and incredibly easy drinking with white pepper spice, raspberry and dusty tannins, with hints of moreish olive brine in the fold. The Vincent is a nod to winemaker, Marco Cirillo's father who has passed eight generations of Italian winemaking and grape-growing knowledge down to the ninth.

Crunchy n' taught, this Grenache is overflowing with raspberry coulis and spice, wrapped with a veil of silky tannin, with darts of pomegranate woven through. A modern iteration, coming from 88-year-old vines, with so much ease of drinkability. Nouveau by name, nouveau by nature.

First Drop The Matador Grenache 2021

Full of cranberry, raspberry and red apple, and light like some juicier Pinots. Has a vivacious quality to it, but is delicate in structure. We'd recommend chilling this one.

Smallfry Eclectik Violet Grenache 2022

Beautifully poised Grenache sourced from old vines, ranging 60 to 100 years, from across the Barossa Valley. A lovely pinch of whole bunch, tea leaf-like tannin intermingles with warming baking spices, along with jubey red fruits, touches of light herbs and a crack of cayenne pepper spice lingering on the long and fine finish.

Sons of Eden Notus Grenache 2020

The fruit for this wine comes from vines averaging 60 years and was hand-harvested before being wild-fermented with 40% whole bunches and the remaining amount as uncrushed, destemmed berries. The resulting wine is strong, rich in character and bursting with flavour—expect silky fruits met with vibrant acidity and tight-grained tannins.

Deep and concentrated yet still nimble and with vibrancy to the fruit, with raspberry and strawberry coulis, a nice taught acid line and savoury tannins. So. Good. Need we say more?

Spinifex Moppa Grenache 2020

Winemaker Abel Gibson's connection to the Barrossa Valley runs deep, having lived there since he was two. He has worked with some of Australia most iconic winemakers, but has never undergone any formal training. His approach lends itself to one of instinct and tradition. Fruit is sourced from his home vineyard in Flaxman’s Valley, along with some other parcels from like-minded growers and friends. The fruit is harvested according to the biodynamic calendar, racking and bottle according to moon cycles. You can expect some whole bunch and various levels of skin contact, sometimes up to 12 months. His wines, continue to show the deliberate and considered effort in the art of blending small parcels of wine to bring together an intriguing whole. With such a small production, these wines are incredibly limited.
