Arette Blanco Tequila

La Gritona Reposado is a subtle and distinctive 100% blue agave tequila distilled by Melly Barajas at her small distillery in Valle de Guadalupe in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Rested in reused American whiskey barrels for 8 months before filtering and bottling. The facility is overseen by a small staff of local women that work each process from start to finish. Light on sweetness, with a stunning aroma of agave. Although rested on oak, the taste remains herbaceous and vegetal, without the typical notes normally associated with a highland Reposado. The finish is crisp and round with no burn. Definitely drink it straight or with a cheeky crispy lager on the side. (700ml) 40% ABV
