Grenache Blanc plus Maccabeau equals savoury cut melon, and when it’s made by Domaine Laguerre you get a little loose LoFi edge that comes through savoury and with a little oxidative feel to mull over. If you’re not all in yet, the palate is with white peaches and mint.

Goes amazingly well with chips and cheeses thanks to a little almond blossom and peach fuzz richness. That Viognier adds a little ginger spice and white pepper which you could embellish with a little local thai. Just sayin.
