Fleshy cherry, a little salinity and a touch of sweet fruit are met with a dusting of bricky tannins. A little bit of Italia via the Adelaide Hills, Uraidla Sangiovese was destemmed and spent three weeks on its skins and very little sulphur was added to the wine.

In our humble opinion, there's no better all-rounder than Sangiovese. Such a versatile variety with so many expressions, there truly is something for everyone. Want something bright and energised? Sangiovese. How about something complex and engaging? Sangiovese. It can be an earthy wine, with firm tannins, or a fruity drop with a bright acidity—Sangiovese really runs the whole gamut of flavour. This savoury wine pairs well with most bites, from rich, savoury food all the way through to light, summery plates; and we all know the classic duo of Chianti and pizza.
